Margaret
Byrnes
Florida
Margaret Byrnes, Managing Associate for QEA, is an
internationally known expert on continuous improvement, Quality
practices, and system alignment. She has served as an examiner
for Baldrige
and in 2002 served as a senior examiner. She has served as a
teacher, counselor, and administrator with training and coaching
experience in schools across the nation. Co-author of The
Quality Teacher and Quality
Fusion, she has also written a children’s introductory
book on quality, Dr. Deming and His Amazing Quality Idea.

Wisconsin
Jeanne Baxter, Professor Emeritus of Leadership
Education at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago,
is currently an examiner for the State of Wisconsin’s
Forward Award, based
on the Baldrige
criteria. She is a recognized expert on leadership, school-centered
decision making, team building, and business-school partnerships.
Co-author of Leadership
Through Collaboration: Alternatives to the Hierarchy,
she served as a teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent
in Illinois before joining Northeastern and chairing the Department
of Leadership.
