Margaret Byrnes
Margaret Byrnes, Managing Associate for QEA, is an internationally known expert on continuous improvement, Quality practices, system alignment and leadership. As principal author of There is Another Way! Second Edition and its companion online series for classroom teachers, "Launching Your Baldrige-based Quality Classroom", she provides coaching and leadership facilitation for users. Byrnes served as senior examiner for the Baldrige Performance Excellence national award. She has also served as a teacher, counselor, and administrator with training and coaching experience in schools and school districts across the nation. Her other books include: Co-author of The Quality Teacher and Quality Fusion.
She has also written a children’s introductory book on quality, Dr. Deming and His Amazing Quality Idea.

Jeanne Baxter
Jeanne Baxter, Professor Emeritus of Leadership Education at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, is co-author with Margaret Byrnes of
There Is Another Way! Second Edition, and the companion online course, "Launching Your Baldrige-Based Quality Classroom." She also served as an examiner for the State of Wisconsin’s Forward Award, based on the Baldrige criteria. She is a recognized expert on leadership, team building, and business-school partnerships. Most recently she is a member of ASQ (American Society Quality) International Team Excellence Award Committee. Co-author of Leadership Through Collaboration: Alternatives to the Hierarchy, she served as a teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent before joining Northeastern and chairing the Department of Leadership.
